The discordant Gulf states and their controversial leaders, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, wanted to show a unified position, after times of estrangement, so they chose Yemen; once again, to prove that this fabricated union is our eternal catastrophe either in the case of thier unity or division. And here we are, as we are certain that the bond of the three partners has come together, and there is no gain in re-establishing the bond of unity in another context by focusing on starving Yemenis and depriving them of their livelihood.

In the fall of 2016, this Gulf alliance decided, before it disbanded, to plunge civilians into a livelihood as a tool in the war, without any sense of morality or remorse. Consequently, the existing economic neutrality was abolished, and the central bank was moved from Sana'a to Aden. As the days passed, we saw how this disastrous decision affected the persistence of the war, and how the unarmed Yemeni employees have been deprived of their salaries and forcibly thrown into the fighting fronts in exchange for crumbs of money from which they longed for to support their families.

But how can we conclude the catastrophe of the war and the stupidity of its leaders, if we do not see this irresponsible behavior?! How can you once again acknowledge the starvation of an entire nation, just because the war you conducted is not commensurate with the size of your influence?! Moreover, these Gulf states are in a state of active war inside Yemen, and just as our corrupt governments tolerate the bulk of the corruption in the managing of the financial deposits, they also bear the greatest responsibility for creating the largest humanitarian crisis since World War II.

The scandal of what happened yesterday in Geneva is crystal clear; How can you fight and not be held accountable for part of the cost of your war? Since the machine of joint destruction is still working; therefore, the talk that what you have provided during the past years is sufficient, strips you of the robe of responsibility and morals, and does not give you any right that you might imagine.

Moreover, the joint decision of these partner countries comes without the world’s preoccupation with bigger battles, which makes it even more despicable, as this global infighting between the major powers has cost Yemeni civilians additional charges in a war that the global conscience has tried to ignore. Until yesterday, the International Red Cross said that more than 16 million people in Yemen do not have enough food to eat. With the rising cost of fuel globally, the conflict in Ukraine has escalated, and food prices, especially grain, are likely to rise, according to the ICRC statement.

After the disappointing conference, the United Nations estimated that one million and six hundred thousand additional Yemeni people would join the list of the hungry, in view of the declining international humanitarian support which has been shrinking to less than the third. What concerns us here, is the emphasis on the wrong of the policies pursued by the warring parties, which they believe to be a correct combat doctrine, rather than the fact that the policy of deliberate starvation may constitute a war crime, if it was deliberate, and it is.

What can we call the ultimate control of the coalition led by Saudi Arabia and the UAE over the energy supply lines; preventing the export of this important wealth to the world, and harsh restrictions on the entry of oil derivatives and worsening the living conditions of people? This is in addition to the policy of misinformation followed, which would target the national economy, and thus the lives of civilians and their right to food and dignity?! Before the end of the last year, that is, before starting the military operations in Shabwa, this alliance spread rumors of providing a huge financial deposit in order to limit the deterioration of the currency in the government-controlled areas, and then this news ended up as a kind of heavy teasing, so that the currency faltered again.

Thus, these scandalous practices cannot - in any case - establish any form of agreement, not to mention their blatant contradiction with the allegations on which the war was based, even with the tactical and strategic balances that we do not count. What is the message they want to deliver to a hungry Yemeni citizen, who is still waiting for the worst? Why insist on prolonging this torment, by repeating foolishness? What punishment is greater than the robbery of a citizen of his homeland, and then the morsel of his children? What punishment?!

Ansar Allah group (Houthis), although yesterday's conference seemed untouched, it is an authentic participant in this policy of starvation, as it believes that you have to rule people by force, then put yourself in a solution of their interests, if the decisions of the Gulf leaders do not constitute an additional motive for it to plunge people into the abyss of war. This group, which sees in the war a valuable opportunity for control and influence, is also confiscating the right of the people to their salaries, but rather goes to practice the behavior of intensive levying on the private economy and exhausting it.

When talking about humanitarian aids, the group has been present in all the aspects of war as a plunderer. Yes, tons of humanitarian aids have been interrupted and diverted to the abhorrent path that fuels the continuation and exacerbation of the war, which gives further evidence that the leaders of this war are completely stripped of social responsibility.

On the other hand, as for the internationally recognized government, it cannot be woken up by this discourse, as it is constantly yawning, seemingly preoccupied before someone alerts it to the need for official financial policies. We are tired of the repetitive speeches that a government that does not value the position of its citizens, which it has handed over to the militias, is necessarily corrupt and not accountable.

It is also an opportunity, to pinch the ears of the international organization, to consider and review its mechanisms for administering humanitarian aid, in a way that refutes allegations of corruption, achieves the great benefit expected of reaching to the needy Yemeni people, and works to fill the gaps; In the end, not all criticisms are wrong, unless they are based on opposition and political investment.
