"Israel has the right to defend itself" is a phrase that has been repeated and is still being repeated extensively by the Western press and Western governments. So it has become, from my point of view, the one that summarizes the situation in Gaza today because the flood that destroyed Israel's image made it, after that, play a bloody role expressed as a racist occupation state that is revealed day after day by the process of genocide and ethnic cleansing against the civilian population of Gaza, describing them in the words of its Defense Minister Yoav Galant as "human animals".
Despite Russia's failure to adopt a draft resolution in the Security Council calling for a ceasefire in Gaza, there is a voice emerging against the Western bias towards the occupation state. Many countries, including Iran, are still warning against the expansion of the war into a regional war! The question that must be asked here is: Will the Gaza war expand into a regional war in which everyone fights against everyone, as some politicians and analysts say?
The Middle East has become a hot tin roof. Therefore, some of them believe that in the case of Gaza, it is a war of liberation and the restoration of what has been lost since 1948, and some of them see that it will be a war of shuffling cards, as a result of which a new Middle East will be created.
In the midst of these complications, we cannot predict what will happen and how things will turn out, but the closest scenario would be the cessation of the war as before, and thus the Palestinian resistance will have recorded an important breach in the military and intelligence system of the occupation state, represented by the operation it launched against its system in the colonies surrounding Gaza on the morning of October 7th.
